Welcome to the Four Corners Regional Airport (KFMN) serving a regional population of well over 100,000 with service to travelers from four states. With two runways, full time Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) and an Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower the Four Corners Regional Airport is the logical choice for flying into the Four Corners region.

Features
Great Lakes Airlines, a code share partner for United Airlines, offers flights to Denver & Alamosa, CO, and Phoenix & Show Low, AZ. With connections through any of these cities, there are hundreds of domestic and international connections available.

The Airport is also host to four rental car companies; Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National.

The airport offers FREE short and long term parking to travelers utilizing the airport. The airport is also home to full service general aviation and corporate facilities.

Airport Information

  • The Durango-La Plata County Airport has one of the longest runways in the Four Corners at 9,200 feet long and 150 feet wide.
  • Our 36,500-square-foot terminal opened in February 1988. The Durango-La Plata County Airport has four airlines, five rental car agencies, a deli, and a gift shop.
  • The Durango-La Plata County Airport is professionally staffed with professional aircraft firefighters (ARFF). The Durango-La Plata County Airport has two ARFF fire trucks with 750 pounds of dry chemical and 1,500 gallons of ARFF foam solution.
  • The Durango-La Plata County Airport receives approximately 50 inches of snow annually. The airport uses large plows, a broom sweeper, and two large rotary snow blowers to keep the runway clear during winter. The airport has a variety of smaller equipment that may be used if needed.
  • The Durango-La Plata County Airport is co-owned by the City of Durango and La Plata County. The airport is overseen by the Durango-La Plata County Airport Commission .
